Uživatelé aplikace Robot Investment Calculator nemohou říkat, že nebyli varováni. Akcie jsou v pásmu "OVERVALUED" již od 12. prosince 2017. Těsně před propadem byly nadhodnoceny o téměř 20 procent.
Rovněž tak indikátor VIX (neboli "index strachu", v rámci Robot Investment Calculatoru označovaný jako Risk Level) již řadu měsíců ukazoval do sektoru "Silence before the storm" (Klid před bouří). Ne, nikdo si nemůže stěžovat, že nebyl varován včas.
Jediné, co Robot Investment Calculator neumí, je sdělit přesně den předem, že "zítra to začne a bude to mazec". Ale to vám neřekne nikdo.
